Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) - North Carolina

### Position Overview A mid-sized Level III medical facility in North Carolina is looking for a CRNA to provide locum tenens support. This position encompasses both inpatient and outpatient services, focusing on a variety of complex acute surgical procedures. ### Clinical Scope The practitioner will manage diverse specialties, including orthopedics, gynecology, urology, general surgery, vascular, neuro-spine, endoscopy, and obstetrics (note that regional anesthesia is not a requirement for OB). There are also opportunities to participate in cardiac, pulmonary, and healthy pediatric cases. The facility also manages acute emergency protocols, such as stroke and electrophysiology. ### Team and Facility The hospital is equipped with modern medical technology and maintains high safety standards. You will work alongside a supportive team of anesthesiologists and fellow CRNAs, with a physician-to-CRNA ratio of 1:4. ### Schedule and Caseload The typical daily workload ranges from 2 to 5 cases. Required coverage includes three 12-hour weekday shifts, with additional weekend availability requested for either 8-hour or 12-hour shifts.
